Dr. Anthony Testa

Dr. Testa was born in the Toronto area, but was raised in Newmarket, Ontario. He graduated on the Dean’s List from York University with two degrees, an Honours Bachleor of Science Degree, majoring in Kinesiology and Health Science; and a Bachelor of Education degree.  Dr. Testa felt that his thirst for knowledge had not yet been satisfied after two degrees, and in 2005 was accepted and attended the only English speaking chiropractic college in the country the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic Collage. There he received his chiropractic degree, as well as his certification in Acupuncture.  His education at CMCC was second to none, as he graduated confident and competent in such fields of study such as diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and utilizing a diversified chiropractic approach.

Dr. Testa is an evidence based practitioner who specializes in treating a wide range of patients, from office employees and seniors to athletes and emergency task force personnel.  He believes strongly in the importance of educating patients in all aspects of health. He administers an evidence-based approach which integrates a multi-faceted therapy treatment to provide care in the areas of pain management, acute-injury care, and post-surgical rehabilitation.  He also believes that functional training and rehabilitation, can assist people with common goals they would like to achieve such as weight loss, improving athletic performance, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and stress management. Some of the methods Dr. Testa utilizes if needed are contemporary acupuncture, a specific muscle release therapy technique, rehabilitation and of course the extremely powerful and effective spinal manipulation.

Dr. Testa possesses many hobbies and external interests which keep his life always busy.  He is a grade 10 pianist from the Royal Conservatory of Music and is extremely interested in global economics. He also is an avid sports enthusiast who particularly enjoys football, soccer and hockey.

Dr. Testa has volunteered as the vice-presidant for a local charity in the Vaughan community for 4 years.  He is a proud member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO).
